The need to quickly provide a wide variety of materials, sheet thicknesses, and color options places high demands on warehouse logistics and manufacturing processes.

The standard version of Slinet’s 5-metric-ton storage system is designed as a two-lane system for 16 coils, each weighing 5 metric tons. It can optionally be expanded to a three-lane system, providing space for up to 24 coils. With additional length extensions, the storage system can be expanded to accommodate over 40 coil spaces.

Flexible Warehouse Logic featuring patented technology

The Slinet 5-metric-ton coil storage system operates entirely without fixed coil storage locations. The storage positions dynamically adjust to the respective outer diameters of the coils, thereby enabling optimal use of the available storage space. Each coil axis has a unique ID, its own drive, and an integrated braking system. Precise servo drives ensure reliable and fully electrically controlled positioning of the coils.
